to learn how to knit or crochet then join the Prayer Shawl Ministry?
Even if you know how to knit or crochet—come and join in the spiritual fellowship of creating a shawl for someone in need of comfort brings. Basically, a prayer is said before creating your shawl, during the making of the shawl, and then it is blessed at the altar by Pastor Scott and the congregation. Finally it is given to the person in need of comfort. If this interests you, we meet the first and third Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 at Faith Lutheran Church. Hope to see you there.
